Nextrom Holding AG announces its first quarter order intake and sales

On the basis of continued operations, sales during the first quarter 2006 reached CHF 1.6 million – compared to CHF 0.3 million in Q1 2005. Net order intake was CHF 2.0 million in Q1 2006 compared to CHF 0.3 million in Q1 2005. The order backlog at the end of March 2006 was CHF 3.8 million compared to CHF 0.5 million at the end of March 2005.

Appointment of new CFO

Nextrom Holding AG further announces the appointment of Peter K. Bachmann (50) as CFO. He will take over from Thomas Stäheli who will continue as member of the board and Legal Counsel. On the AGM of 13 June 2006, Peter Bachmann will be proposed to be elected as member of the Board. Peter Bachmann is Betriebsökonom FH ~ BBA and dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer ~ Swiss CPA; he has been with BDO Visura Treuhand (6 years) and thereafter 20 years as CFO in various positions – out of which 7 years Rothmans/BAT; since 2006 he is partner in CommCept AG. He has gained experience in various industries, i.e. construction, industrial general contracting, pharmaceutical, FMCG, music industry, IT-services and internet trade domestically (CH) as well as abroad (UK, USA, Germany, Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Middle East).
